What is a credit?
- Credits gives flexibility to schedule pentests on demand and for a range of scopes.
- Provides platform user’s direct transparency to credit balance.
- An easy method to track testing cadence.
1 credit = 8 hours of security testing
Credits are displayed under the Credits tab:
Addition of a credit is represented by (+) within the Amount column:
- Example Scenario: A contract is added representing an increase in credits.
Subtraction of a credit is represented by (-):
- Example Scenarios: A credit is used in a pentest or a contract is expired.
- Date: The date of the transaction.
- Category: Two categories will be displayed, Pentest and Contract:
- Pentest: represents the number of credits used in the pentest.
- Contract: represents the total number of credits purchased in the contract.
- Description: Provides more details of the transaction.
- Contract: Dates the contract begins and the contract ends.
- Pentest: A pentest that is completed.
- Amount: Represents the subtraction and addition of credits from pentest usage and contracts added.
- Balance: Remaining number of credits available. Updated in real time.
What is a credit?

Who can see credits?
All users (Org Owners and Org Members) on the platform.
What contracts will credits apply too?
Credits applies to your credit balance in your current contract and all relevant contracts moving forward.
Where can a user find credits?
Under the Settings tab of the dashboard.
What do the colors in the date mean?
Red represents a contract has expired.
What do the categories signify?
Pentest: represents the number of credits used in the pentest.
Contract: represents the total number of credits purchased in the contract.
What does status represent?
Status represents the current pentest states of: planned, live, remediation, closed, expired. The status of a pentest will be updated in real time as the pentests change states.
What do the states signify?
Planned: a pentest is ready to start.
Live: a pentest is active and currently being tested on.
Remediation: The pentest is completed and their are pending findings that need to be remediated.
Closed: All findings have been re-tested and remediated in the pentest.
Expired: The pentest has past its contract end date.
What does description mean?
Description will state either the contract start / end dates or the name of the pentest.
What happens when a user selects more credits than they have purchased?
When a user selects more credits than purchased a message window of ‘you don’t have enough credits’ will pop up.
How can users purchase more credits?
Customers can select the "Add Credits" Button or Link on the Credits page. This will send an email to their associated CSM.
What happens when a contract is expiring?
Contract expiration is listed on the platform to inform you when your renewal is approaching.
